We have an Emergency Project: We are trying to raise USD $1500 in the next 12 Days (288 Hours) to assist a South Mississippi Family in immediate need.

HELP KEEP A FAMILY FROM BECOMING HOMELESS!!
For myself, this is one of the reasons I use Social Networking.
I started a project identical to this effort on Thursday January 13th, 2011 at 16:42 PM local time.
I had a bit under 27 hours to try to meet or exceed this goal.
So, What Happened then? We have had donors from all over the world, many wishing to remain anonymous, that have made this campaign work.
Who is the first Donor? It started with a donation from a friend-of-a-friend in Australia, helping this family in Mississippi on the Gulf Coast!!
Through a personal loan, the fund-raising goal for the campaign was met on time.
I’m just hoping that it is not beyond the reach of reasonability to ask people who can to help someone that needs the help, and they need the help immediately.
That being said, I am not going to populate this post with any link other than to where you can give NOW.
Seriously, I believe on a return-on-value as well as transparency when it comes to what I am willing to do through my concerns.
If you have the wherewithal to help me achieve this small goal and help a family in South Mississippi keep their lights on, freezer on, so that their foods do not spoil, they can pump water from their well (this is not even in a small city setting), please do consider helping them right this minute.

Why? It is what I do, but more importantly, this particular family is very deserving of assistance, and this assistance for me personally will be a way of showing that people do care.
How are they deserving? Well having just found out the need, I can give you a couple of facts that indicate that they deserve our help. First, they have taken it upon themselves to help others, regardless of whether it has any negative impact on their personal sustenance. They have given and given, way before ever even having to consider asking for help.
What exactly have these families done to capture my attention?
Over the recent Holiday Season, in fact prior to Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s celebrations, I personally have seen where the first family helped by this giving program: has taken in struggling teenagers who otherwise would be homeless, unable to complete their education, and in a much worse position overall for just starting life. Wouldn’t you agree? One of the second things I have seen this done repeatedly, and they have taken in a young person who is attending a local college, working two jobs, and struggling as it is.
Yet, I have not seen or heard them ask for help, until the situation was brought to my attention today. They even took on the responsibility of the family dog, along with the kids!
